Responsible for the daily supervision of all field service operations of all Deputy Juvenile Officers for the Second Judicial Circuit and has primary supervision of all abuse/neglect cases, delinquency cases and status offense cases pending in the Second Judicial Circuit Court, Juvenile Division. The Chief Juvenile Officer also assists with the supervision and management of the sixteen bed secure detention unit operated by the Bruce Normile Juvenile Justice Center, as well as the sixteen bed residential treatment unit.
